PRAY FOR ANGELA

FRIDAY AUGUST 9, 2002
Today, Angela was summoned by the Father to come home and dine with Him, at a homecoming feast prepared in her honor... to stand in His presence, in clothes of immortality. She went home to God with her family as witnesses of her homegoing. Her suffering has ended - she is well, whole and happy - free of cancer today, in the kingdom of God.
Pray for her husband and children in the coming days, weeks and months. Pray also for Angela's sister Mimi, who was so good to share Angela with us, and give us the opportunity to know and pray for her. Mimi shared with me that she was with Angela when she went to heaven. It is very difficult for all the family, to let her go, though they know with full assurance - that they will meet again!

JULY 15, 2002
Angela was diagnosed with uterine sarcoma in March of this year, after undergoing exploratory surgery. Despite undergoing three months of intense chemotherapy, the cancer was found to still be growing. : ( It has metastasized to her lungs at this point. Angela has been put on an experimental drug in hopes of halting the cancer's spread. Her sister Mimi shared with me that so far, nothing seems to be working on this cancer, and Angela's doctors hold little hope for her. This family knows that God is the author of life and that our times are in His hands. Mimi shared that their desire was to see Angela healed by God, since Doctors have done all they can. They want to see God glorified in this situation, regardless of the outcome and would appreciate others joining with them in prayer for Angela, for the whole family as they travel this difficult road.

Angela is married and the stay-at-home/ homeschooling mother of three children and most importantly, she is a believer! She knows that when life here is done, God has prepared a place for her in heaven! Please pray for Angela when the Lord brings her to mind, that daily His presence, His love and His help will be with her and sustain her through these difficult days.

James 5:16b ~
The effective prayer of a righteous man
can accomplish much.

Psalm 31:14-15a, 24
But as for me, I trust in Thee, O Lord, I say, "Thou art my God." My times are in Thy hand. Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the Lord.
