Our Basis For The Hope We Confidently Proclaim I Corinthians 15:3-4, 12, 16-22 3. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4. and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the scriptures. 12. Now if Christ is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 16. For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised; 17. and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. 18. Then those also who have fallen asleep (died) in Christ have perished. 19. If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied. 20. BUT NOW CHRIST HAS BEEN RAISED FROM THE DEAD, THE FIRST FRUITS OF THOSE WHO ARE ASLEEP. 21. For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection from the dead. 22. For as in Adam, all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive.

Our mission at Legacy is twofold - First, to present Jesus, who triumphed over death, who alone is able to save us, to see us through all the circumstances and trials of this life and bring us safely to heaven.

The Gift We Want To Pass On II Corinthians 1:3-5 3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; 4. who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.

Second, we want to pass on to you, the comfort we have received from Christ. None can comfort the depths of our sorrows except Jesus...we want to encourage your heart with His promises.

Lynn is the owner and webmaster of Legacy. Legacy's graphics are a labor of love for Christ, created and given as a gift for the encouragement of those battling cancer, by Mary of Mary's Little Lamb. Mary and Lynn are both Christians, sinners who have been forgiven and saved by God's mercy and grace, alone. We have walked with Christ for a number of years and been kept by His grace. We are not perfect, but we do strive daily to live for Him, who died for us. I value Mary's input, ideas, and perspectives on this site. She has a level of maturity in Christ that I strive to emulate. Mary is a dear friend and a gift!

Legacy is also surrounded with Godly, caring friends who have covenanted with us, to pray for those who come here and request prayer as they struggle with cancer. Our desire is to support through prayer and encouragement, and impart courage to you, spur you on to complete trust in God, as you look to Him to work out His good and pleasing will in your life.
