Legacy Prayer Warriors exist to support in regular prayer, people who are battling cancer. We consider it a privilege to pray for those dear ones who request prayer. Prayer takes us to the very throne room of God and He has asked us to bring to Him, all things which concern us. Right now we have 16 faithful, active prayer warriors at Legacy. Each week one of our prayer warriors (Karol) is faithful in updating our prayer newsletter and putting it in our hands so that we are reminded to pray for you through the week.

Each one of the prayer warriors have faced cancer in some way - some personally, and some of us as caregivers of a loved one facing cancer. We are familiar with the physical, emotional, spiritual and practical daily effects of cancer on the patient as well as family and friends. We truly do care and want to encourage and support cancer families in any way possible.

 We welcome your communication with us and encourage you to share if you or a loved one is battling cancer. We will add you/them to our weekly Legacy Prayer Newsletter and pray along with you on the journey. VERY IMPORTANT!

  If you have a friend or loved one battling cancer, and you have contacted us asking to be added to our prayer list, please remember to update Lynn periodically.

If you are the patient, we understand you may not feel up to communicating with us personally. Please ask a friend or family member to be responsible to periodically update us on how you are faring. This will help us to remember you in prayer, and to pray more effectively for you.

Sometimes we will receive an urgent request to pray for someone and then we add them to our list, faithfully pray for them - but never hear back! We are unsure how to continue to pray, not knowing if the situation has improved or deteriorated. We never want to delete anyone who continues to need prayer, as they battle. Also, we do become attached to those we get to know on the cancer journeys and we appreciate knowing how things are going for you. WE CARE!
